Abiding in Him…. in the Midst of a Busy Life
Reflecting on Psalm 139 this morning as I attempt to tackle the learning curve of creating a web site. I’m so thankful that God knows us as we lie down and as we rise up. He knows our thoughts and what our days look like. I lean in to this knowledge as I ask Him to help me number my days and to steward my time wisely before Him. Sometimes a feel such a tug-of-war within myself between being a Martha with long ToDo lists and being a Mary who just wants to sit at Jesus feet. When I feel this tug in my life, I often remember what Heidi Baker has taught, that you must abide in Him to bear fruit. Fruitfulness flows from intimacy with Jesus Christ for He is eternal life. So today I will aim my life to abide in Him. To make prayer the center of my life, and out of that beautiful Secret Place I will perform the tasks before me. It is all worship to Him!
